AGE: 229 years (looks to be in his late 20's/early 30's)

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Mani stands 5'7 and weighs about 151 pounds. He has a lean, muscular build that adds to the warrior air that Mani carries about himself. He doesn't smile much and as a result, when he does you know it's genuine. His brown eyes are piercing and intense though they can carry a kind of sadness. For a very long time he kept his black hair long but recently he has chosen to cut his hair short for practicality. 

OCCUPATION: Contractor (read mercenary) for Spartan Military Solutions

PERSONALITY: A deeply spiritual man, he enjoys his time by himself. Mani has never lost his love of the outdoors and his only regret is that he can't afford to fall asleep under the stars any more. He can be a bit of a practical joker though his stoic face usually makes him the last person anyone would suspect. When it comes time for business though he is cold and vicious. 

BACKGROUND: Born in the late 1700's as one of the Kahnawake Mohawks, his family living in the area his people called kahnawà:ke. His father died when he was young fighting the American colonists, his people having sided with the British during the American Revolution. After he became a man, he quickly proved himself to be a skilled hunter and a warrior the likes of which his people hadn't seen in generations. 

It was after Mani had become a man and had a wife and children that he found out that the British were attacking the American's again. He set out to join the British with other Kahnawake warriors, leaving his wife and children behind to take revenge on the people who killed his father. Things started out simple enough, with the warriors raiding settlements but Mani grew tired of it. There was nothing to be gained from killing farmers and trappers.

Mani was pleased with a battle he fought in, commanded by Charles de Salaberry at the Chateauguay River where their forces were out numbered and still managed to win. The war continued for another year and Mani and his fellow Kahnawake warriors harassed military targets on a near constant basis. Even after the British made peace with the colonists Mani and other native warriors continued to attack American troops and settlements. 

Late one night Mani and his his raiding party caught word of a wealthy New Yorker traveling to the Ohio territory. They needed anything they could get to trade for better guns as theirs were starting to show their age. The New Yorker was traveling in a carriage and had a few men on horse with him. The braves attacked and before the fight had even started a red haired man had killed all but Mani.

As he was about to kill Mani, bearing fangs and speaking like an Irishman, the biggest white man Mani had ever seen stepped out of the carriage. He said his name was Constantine and he spared Mani, impressed by something in the warrior. Mani traveled with Constantine and his friends learning what they were and what they had been through. They were fellow warriors and some of the best Mani had ever met.

When Constantine offered to give Mani the gift of immortality he agreed but not before he had interrogated his future master thoroughly about what it would mean to become a vampire. Mani was trained by Constantine and the other warrior vampires he traveled with. Constantine was well traveled and knew the warrior arts of many different cultures. When Constantine started teaching Mani Pankration it would start a long love of martial arts. Since then Mani has studied Fu Jow Pai (Tiger Claw Kung Fu), Capoeira, Wushu and Muay Thai.

He has never left Constantine and loved living in New York. He watched over the Kahnawake community in Brooklyn until leaving the city to move to Florida with his master. In the sixties he served as a mercenary working for Constantine and doing operations in Vietnam. Since then he has been constantly doing contract work for Spartan Military Solutions.

STRENGTHS: Can feed off of violence like his master but does not show the same level of strength. Instead his strength is comparable to most vampires, however his speed is rather exceptional. He's a skilled tracker, hunter, and outdoors man. He is good enough in the open wilderness that he is capable of easily surviving for very long stretches on his own, limited only by the availability of blood.

WEAKNESSES: If Mani had his way, he would kill everyone he drank from. He also prefers to drink from people he has bested in combat. His need to feed off of violence seems stronger than other vampires that Constantine has made. Mani has never voiced his fears, but worries that if he cannot curb his need and desire to kill that Constantine may kill him.

ITEMS ALWAYS FOUND ON THIS CHARACTER: A fighting knife and a shell necklace his wife gave him before he left her for the last time.

SPECIALIZED COMBAT/DEFENSE SKILLS, if any: His martial skills are second to none, other than his master. His incredible speed applied to his knowledge of a variety of martial arts has resulted in a very dangerous vampire.

OTHER SPECIAL POSSESSIONS: Still has and still uses the same tomahawk that he first carried into battle against the colonists as well as the necklace mentioned above.

QUIRKS, INTERESTS, HOBBIES: Has a real interest in the ways of warrior cultures all over the world and throughout history. Mani is often found practicing some new move he read out/witnessed at the fights with Constantine or reading history books.
